  • Imagine yourself sitting in the front seat of the first train on the track. Your pulse pounding. Your blood rushing. Your breath is coming in short and fast. You are so filled with excitment. You think to yourself, “I can’t believe that I am doing this! This is great! Come on, hurry up!” As the seconds go by and everybody is getting loaded onto the train you get lost in your thoughts. Looking out over the track that lay before you, analyizing every twist and turn, rise and drop, you never hear the buzzer go off that signals that the train is ready to hit the track. Before you know it you are being launched up a decent at speeds that are just incredible. You realize that this is a roller coaster unlike one you have ever rode before. You can feel the hydraulics pulsing the track beneath you. You can feel the wind taking your breath away as it blows in your face. You have never went this fast before. What a rush! You can’t help but scream at the top of your lungs. As you approach the top of the ascent you realize what it is going to feel like to be the one in the very front, forty-five stories up, and be the first one to drop over the edge. The very thought makes your heart pound faster, makes you scream louder! “What a fantastic feeling this is!” you think, just right before you drop over the edge. And down a descent that takes you down so fast you have no time to think. Before you know it you are spinning around and around a spiral twist that is going in speeds faster than one hundred miles per hour! Ground, sky, ground, sky, then it all just becomes one big blur as you spin through this spiral heading straight for the ground. With your hair flying all around you, hanging onto the harness so tight your knuckles are white, screaming so loud you are positive that your family that is on the ground can hear your scream above all the others on the ride. Before you know it the spinning is over and you are once again climbing a hill so fast you have no time to think and before you know it you hit the top and all of a sudden you feel as if you are flying. You feel as if you were a child again. No worries or cares. You feel as if you were to spread your arms you would surely be able to fly like a bird and take off over the horizon. For a split second there is silence as everybody on the ride experiences the same feeling of being able to fly. Before you know it you are going down the hill and you can feel the train coming to a stop. With a feeling of sadness, you realize the ride is over. Yet it leaves you wanting more. Wishing that you could ride the roller coaster forever you hurriedly climb out of your seat and onto the platform. Running to find your family you can’t wait to tell them about it. That is when you realize that you have been gone less than a minute. You have definitely got to go on this ride again and bring somebody back to share the incredible experiance with you…

    Kingda Wide

If you are a roller coaster fanatic and a thrill seeker here is a roller coaster for you! The Kingda Ka Roller Coaster located in Jackson, New Jersey. Among many attractions that are located in the Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey this is by far the best. This is a definite ride that will take you to the edge and back again with all its twists and turns at speeds that are as fast as one hundred and twenty eight miles per hour in three point five seconds! This roller coaster is by far the most outstanding! It has a height of forty-five stories or four hundred and fifty-six feet which is also another world record that it breaks. But that is only the beginning of the ride…
This amazing roller coaster is then launched into a vertical descent that will send you plunging through into a two hundred seventy degree spiral twist that will no doubt impress you with speeds higher than one hundred miles per hour. Before this ride ends, and has you wanting to ride it again, is the one hundred twenty-nine foot camel hill that gives you some major airtime. Airtime is where you feel as if you are coming out of your seat and feel as if you are flying. What you are experiancing is the effect of negative g’s, which are normally only experianced by fighter pilots.
This ride is for sure an experiance that will leave you wanting more. The length of this roller coaster is three thousand one hundred and eighteen feet. It is a rush of speed and thrills. As fast as the train took off it is soon coming to a stop in fifty seconds. With the straight vertical ups and the ninty degree falls in less than a minute it is a roller coaster that is gaining its rightful place at the top of the most extreme roller coasters list.
All four trains are located in a side by side dual loading zone with an installed with a switch track which allows all four trains to load at once. It is perfect clock work at its best. As you are launched up the forty-five stories it is over in the blink of an eye and it makes you want more…
Let’s take a look at what it takes to give you this out of this world rush that Kingda Ka Roller Coaster delivers with quite a kick. The train uses a hydraulic launch system. Unlike many other coasters that use a chain system to launch the train up the launch hill, this ride uses a hydraulic motor which is designed to deliver a whopping twenty thousand eight hundred horsepower. This motor is used to drive huge winches where the train’s launch cable is wound. What is called a “catch car” is than put into place in the middle of each train. This car than punches the gas and accelerates the coaster to the world record one hundred twenty eight miles per hour! Some where along the way down the launch hill the “catch car” lets the train go. Between gravity, momentum, and pyshics the train is then racing around every twist and turn, such as the top-hat tower, the camal back hill, which is where you get some serious airtime and that feeling of weightlessness, before finally arriving back in the station.

This roller coaster is a thrill seekers dream come true. Once you ride it there is no other roller coaster in the world that will bring you the thrills and breathtaking feeling that this rollercoaster does. Can you imagine going one hundred and twenty eight miles per hour vertically? Feeling as if you are being launched into outer space itself!
In order to experiance the thrills that this ride gives you, you must be fifty-four inches tall in height. To give you an idea of how many passengers that this ride can take at a time here is how the trains are set up. The trains consist of five cars, two rows each. With the exception of the last car which only has one row. Each row can hold two passengers side by side. This means that each train can carry up to eighteen passengers at a time. That is any where between one thousand and one thousand four hundred passengers per hour that are being launched around this twirling high intensity roller coaster!
Once you have rode this roller coaster you have definitly earned bragging rights on this one. This roller coaster brings many from around the world. Every person seeking the same Kinga Ka Station 2thing, that same pulse pounding, heart pumping, blood rushing, white knuckle, scream at the top of your lungs kind of feeling.
